INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

"My life's purpose is to champion the Divine Feminine.  When I was young, I thought I needed to 'do it like a man'.  That led me to my very short law career.  As a recent graduate, I worked in a small law office in Fortuna California, we brought one of the first Title 9 Sexual harassment cases in California.  Despite truly damning facts, we were laughed out of the courtroom by a dinosaur of a judge ( who was later asked to retire from the bench because of the way he spoke to my client and I). When the case finally made it to the Supreme Court, my client won.  We left a precedent in California that stands to this day,  'if you are bringing a Title 9 case and your judge is found to be gender biased, you have the right to request a new judge.'  But by the time that decision was reached,  Marie was too ill to enjoy it much and she died soon after.  Personally, my faith in the justice system was permanently shattered.
As I watch today, the many victims of standing before congress being ignored, and actively imperiled.  While the only one jailed in this vast network of systemic mysogeny is a woman.  I am painfully reminded that we still have a long road ahead, and apparently we still cannot reasonably rely on our institutions to protect us.

I chose long ago to focus my efforts closer to home, offering women and their families a choice for self care that does not steal their futures by introducing toxins into their bodies.

We similarly cannot rely upon the FDA, the USDA, or the CTFA to protect our health and wellbeing.  We cannot rely upon the multinational  corporations who have purchased the so called  'natural" brands just to add the toxins back in. Nor can we trust the companies who make clean products in other countries where unsafe cosmetic toxins are not legal, yet offer the same products, toxins included, here in America.  The toxins commonly found in skincare marketed to women are; carcinogens, found in synthetic fragrance (no wonder breast cancer is increasing),   endocrine disruptors found in preservatives and stabilizers ( no wonder thyroid issues are increasing), hormone impersonators found in synthetic fragrance, coloring and more ( no wonder fertility rates are plummeting).

It is time to flip the script in the notion that our skin is just our dance card, to be poisoned,  plucked and manipulated to aspire to the fickle whims of fashion.

Our skin is the plane of perception from within and from without.  When skin erupts in a rash or acne, it is invariably telling us something about internal state.  While topical products can soothe and create the conditions for healing, it is important to heed the message and pursue deeper internal healing, or the condition will persist. Likewise, our skin is the constant receiver of vibrational information from the world around us.  When our hair raises on our arms or the back of our neck, that is our sentience telling us that it is sensing danger.  The inner knowing of the divine feminine has been all but erased from our cultural conversation.  Placing us all, regardless of gender, at a disadvantage making us easy targets for manipulation and abuse.   Restoration of our connection to our inner voice necessarily includes paying attention to what our skin is sensing.

Healthy dermal function maintains our inner  hydration,  and temperature, and exclusion of pathogens.  Our skin is the self mending largest organic in our body.  Our skin contains both the origins and endings of our nervous system.  The membrane of the zygote folds in upon itself to form the brain, and also remains the membrane that is our outer skin.  There is no separation, so I call it the mem-brain.

I have made it my life's work to offer empowering skin solutions which protect your health and enhance your experience of your own divine feminine connection, through which we experience love, compassion, and unity consciousness itself.

I hope you're feeling it!
We are the one's we've been waiting for
When we empower our selves with care and compassion,
we light the world with our love.
